North Brandon Estates is actually a large subdivision that is home to two separate smaller subdivisions. North Brandon Ridge is the front section of North Brandon Estates and North Brandon Shores is the back section of the subdivision. Each section has it's own home owner's association and its own lake. North Brandon Shores also has a playground and walking trail. While North Brandon Shores has a clubhouse and swimming pool.

North Brandon Ridge is the entrance section of North Brandon Estates. It extends from the entrance of North Brandon Estates to the second stop sign at the corner of Easterly and Westerly Drives. At that point the subdivision becomes North Brandon Shores. To make it even more confusing North Brandon Ridge includes the smaller subdivision of Ashley Park.
