The Timber Ridge Subdivision Real Estate And Homes For Sale In Pass Christian, MS

As a parent I've learned (somewhat) to pick my battles. My youngest is two years old and on Christmas Eve he wasn't having the "go to bed early" deal I was selling him.. I picked my battle. With my wife in tow, we loaded him up into our truck and went out driving looking at Christmas lights *fingers crossed he would fall asleep*. We decided that Timber Ridge would have nice lights to look at and we set that as our destination.

As a Pass Christian resident, I enjoy driving through Timber Ridge. The area has charming homes in an array of sizes all surrounded by the golf course and access to the Saint Louis Bay via bayous, canals and the likes. But as I don't live in Timber Ridge, just nearby, I quickly found myself lost turning around at the edge of the course and water a few times.. Keep in mind it was Christmas Eve and this Santa was already tired. Lucky for me a local police offer discovered us on a dead end and guided us in the right direction (sometimes we disconnect from technology and leave our phones at home unintentionally while we are making mad dashes out the door).

The lights were plentiful in Timber Ridge, our son did fall asleep, and the officer's help allowed us to get home and Santa to make a full appearance. If you find yourself in the area, take a drive through the community. And don't be afraid to say "hey" if you need help!

Timber Ridge is such a unique and great place to live. The neighborhood is close to white sand beaches, and has a lot to offer its residents. As a property owner, you are entitled to the use of the community pool, boat launch and picnic area. The boat launch is at a great location, which offers a short boat ride to open water.

Timber Ridge has restrictive covenants to ensure the beauty of the subdivision remains a constant. Pass Christian Isles Golf Course winds through the subdivision offering great views from many homes. Timber Ridge also has great waterfront homes as well, where you can crab from your back door, or dock your boat for a quick trip to the Wolf River and/or Gulf of Mexico.

The Timber Ridge Golf Cart Parade is an annual parade just before Mardi Gras. The residents of Timber Ridge decorate their carts and parade through the neighborhood complete with police escorts. Young and old come out to enjoy the "floats" and throws in the neighborhood. A good time is had by all! I participate every year and it's a blast!

Timber Ridge is also my home, so I have some first-hand insight! This community offers waterfront living with several canals that lead to the Bay of St. Louis and out to the Gulf of Mexico (or stay closer and cruise to the river sandbars for the day). The Clubhouse offers a good time with darts, dinner, bar, bingo, etc. Our community has a saltwater pool, tennis courts, golf course and private boat launch (for those who aren't waterfront). We have private security and, most of all, we have a good time! Golf carts cruise the streets and neighbors are quick to offer you a seat at the crawfish table. This is a great place to call home - summertime or all the time!
