The lettering by hand on the RPO #95 railcar was completed yesterday by the talented painter and artist, Saul Maurer!!! Originally built in 1914 and painted in olive green colors much like our 1883 executive car with which she is linked, the RPO #95 is now decked out in the famous Panama Limited colors, just as she was when she was retired from service. Special thanks to the officials of our great neighboring city of Hammond, for donating this historic RPO car, which delivered so many sacks of mail along this very main line of the ICRR!!
